I have had crap from the IRS getting my 05' tax info for my grant, I work 54 hours a week, go to school from 8:00am-5:00pm tues/thurs, My roomate issue is getting worse(The managment told me to wipe my genetal hair off the toilet rim when I lift the toilet seat so EVERYONE (roomies girl) can use it. She WILL not be leaving only because managment says she has no place to go. So tention in the apt is so high you can't cut it with a husquavarna. I have a Power Point presentation due in a week. I get about 5-6 hours of sleep a night. I need some tention releavers.
Dustin
have you been in the military? join the military, and i don't mean some slack job, like an infranty unit or special forces, then get out and you will really see that you don't really have that much stress after all.
I hear you brother - but in civilian life the lines are drawn far less cleanly.
Some days I dunno whatinnell I'm expected to do - but I do it.
In the MIL - at least I knew "WHAT WAS EXPECTED".
There was always something on the VIDS/MAF board for me to do - but today there was NOTHING GOING ON that I could grab onto and run with - and it flat drove me NUCKING FUTS!
Near as I could see, I done wasted most of a day.
I am a challenge and goal oriented person. Give me something to accomplish - and I will chase that thing down until it is slap smooth DONE!

"what was expected" = show up on time in a good uniform, 90% of the job was done!
dusitn- heck, think about it, is it really all that serious? stuff happens, it could be worse, way worse, just concentrate on your school and think "5 years from now, will this little stuff matter?" as far as the IRS, who the heck hasn't had a problem getting stuff from them?
Lay down the law to your roomate man! I mean be clean, and respectful, but at the same time, if your roomies woman doesnt like what you do in your house, tough! Also, tell your roomate you are now paying 1/3rd of the cost, thats your fair share. Trust me man, the sooner you lay down the law, the sooner things will ease up on you. People need to stick up for themselves and stand strong. Do the same and you will feel better. Im also curious, what kind of job do you do that you work that much? Thats alot of hours in a week to be working!
I am going to write down here what you dont want to hear, but here it is anyway, take heed or toss it.
You have to attack lifes problems logistically and prioritize them. You are at the point in your life of getting your education. That is priority one. Making money to have a place to live , clothing yourself, eating and commuting to school and work has to be done to get your education. That makes your job and school, number one priority split down the middle...
Keeping friends gf's/bf's/ at your age should not be something that should be having such a negative impact on you getting your education and working. Those "friends" will be gone in a year or two most likely, and you will never see them again. You only are your age once, lay the strong foundation for your future by assuring you get a good education. Friends can come and go after you get your career going . There is never a shortage of people to make friends of in ones life, but the shortage of money caused by the lack of being educated can make ones life unfriendly to be around though...
Maybe you can find a room or small apartment to rent from some elderly people. A lot of empty nesters rent out their basemnt , guest houses, or apartments above their garages to school kids. But they want responsible , civil acting non partying students as tenants. You HAVE TO GET YOUR HOUSING straightened out, so you can have the peace and quiet to concentrate on your studies. Living alone in a quiet clean room /apt with one bathroom while you get your degree/s, does not make you a social misfit or prevert much unlike the media/shrinks leads society to believe...
You will find that just getting to concentrate quietly on your studies and job, and not having all of this social/housing turmoil in your life, life for you will get easier. Concentrate on your studies, try to get in a position of having to spend less time working. A tired mind and body are not conducive to good study habits. Work less and study more, and git' her done. Life will pass you fast enough as it is. This is just a short moment in your life, it will pass. But the lack of education will be a anchor around your life, for life. Good luck and all jmo
