Hello fellow FTE's,
Glad to be here. I love the look of a lowered roof. Who can tell me first what
they really call this process and what it entails and the costs.
Thanks.
Chuck
PS. My Truck: 2003 F150 Ext 5.4l Ford RED
I don't recall ever seeing a chopped roof on this style of truck in any magazines or anywhere. I can't think of a much harder truck to chop than one of these.
Anyone seen one done?
I have never seen one on this type of truck. It is an expensive project if you are going to have someone do it for you. If you are thinking about doing it yourself you have to cut all the a and b pillers at the right spots, cut the roof into pie shaped peices and weld everything back together to look nice and then have the glass cut and put back in. It takes alot of metal and welding work. It would be one nice looking truck but would take alot of work and be expensive. goodluck
