This Forum Help Solve My Problem!!!
I had been getting exhaust fumes in the cab whenever my AC was NOT on recirculate. I came to this forum and found out about the "Cracked Y Pipe Syndrome" that was not uncommon in our trucks.
Because of the information here, I did not give up when the first dealer I went to said this was normal and told me I did not want to open that can of worms. I found another dealer who not only knew about this problem, but took the time to show me how the black residue found on the y-pipe was a dead give away that my truck suffered a cracked y pipe and promptly fixed it.
This problem had been driving me crazy for several months. If it were not for this forum, I probably would have traded in my less than 1 year old truck and taken a big loss $$. Thanks to those that maintain this awesome forum and those who post here.
