Custom Cab dash replacment
Hello
Who does dash replacments for the custom cab sweep speedo. Its a unique peice that I would like to retain but mines badly cracked by the oil pressure gauge and does not shine like it used to. Can refinishin even be done. I saw some clean pieces in restored trucks that had to be brand new.

Ther'es a custom dash bezel company, saw on and old post. Recommend doing a search on this forum, My customcab bezel was rough, I took fusion spray paint and painted it a solid black color, and painted the two center rings silver. Doesn't look bad, but I would like to have a OEM bezel, they go very high on ebay every now and then.

Hey Chad, Type in "J&B Microfinish" go to catalog then page 3 this will give you an idea of what they have in stock contact Jeff or Becky and explain what you want and they will make you one. I wanted to keep my round style speedo so I had them make me one for my truck view my gallery it came out awsome. The customer service is excellent.

Had CC instrument dash on 65 reconditioned approx. 3yrs. ago, cost approx. $135 and very please with results. Tried emailing shop 'Quality Mustang' but does not look like any longer in business. If considering staying with original dash suggest run a google search for dash repair business in your area. Found my source by going to Hemmings Motor News web site and run a search under dash repair. Had 2 instrument panels reconditioned and both businesses were located in Texas, please with both.

I try and avoid making recommendations. Suggest if decide to go with restoring CC dash that you call and speak to owner, or individual who will be doing the restoration and make decision on that basis. I ran search and came across web page where I had the 65 instrument panel restored www.qualitymustangs.com/id2.html When I first started searching I contacted Mr. G and was not that impressed.
