Squeek/Squeel during Shutdown

Squeek/Squeel during Shutdown
My truck used to sqeek/squeel when ever I shut it down. I just figured that it was normal, because I always heard it when other diesel trucks shut down.
Boy was I wrong!!! I replaced my serpentine belt and the sqeek/squeel went away.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I have a similar sound when I shut mine down and I did think it could be the belt but I haven't replaced it yet. The sound is the last thing that I hear as the motor quits and it's maybe a second or two in duration.
Maybe I need to move that belt replacement up on the list.

The one I got is for the single alternator set-up. 122 3/4 inches, I think I paid $44 at a local auto parts store. You also have to look to see if you have the upper radiator hose that goes thru the serpentine belt. What was Ford thinking?? I replaced my upper radiator hose with the one that goes around the belt.
