427 Pickups
Does anyone here recall Ford having a pickup with a 427 motor in it, in the early to mid 1960's? I recall seeing them advertised, and stories about them at the drags, in some of the magazines of that time period. As I remember it, they were built in Brighton, Michigan by Kar Kraft, the same ones who did the Boss 429 Mustang. They had the 427, an automobile 4 speed, console, and bucket seats. I'm not sure, but I think they were sold through the regular Ford dealers, as a special order. I've been looking for info on this for a long time, with no luck. When I found this site, I thought , If anyone knows, these guys will. Thanks for any help, and info.
