Radiator Leak?

Well - I've got this random water leak that is getting pretty annoying. I've parked the truck after driving home from work in the afternoon and it doesn't leak a drop. I drive it to work the same distance and speed and colder temperature out and it leaks quite a bit.

I've been noticing water at the very top of the radiator sitting in a trough that appears to be a seam. I am now almost certain there is water coming out of this area but it looks like the seam is acctually below this "trough" so I don't understand how water is getting up and into it. Is this a common place for the radiator to fail?

I'm afraid I also have a weeping waterpump. How involved is this change? I assume the accessories aren't all bolted to it? What's a fair price for a replacement?

Yep they can leak at the seam and kinda oooze into the trough. You can pressurize the rad and make it leak so you can see where it's coming from.

The water pump is around 120$, not too hard to change with basic wrenching skills.
