302 headers

I own a 1985 F250 single cab, long bed with a 302. Currently I am running open dual pipe that ends at the back of the cab. I cut the cat out and was wondering how much of a difference headers would make on a 302?

Headers should give you more power (engough to notice) and make the exhaust a lot louder. If you respect your neighbors, you will probably want some mufflers soon after.

Where could I get low cost headers? I would like them to cost less than $100 if possible. Summits cheapist is $125.

Be careful, you might bet what you pay for. Considering installing most headers is a big job, I would at least try to get some quality ones so they last. I would be leary of new headers that cost under $100.

Try Ebay for a good used set.
