I very much disagree with the posts above.. Superchips makes a VERY safe, and VERY effective programmer that works wonders! I have mine on the Economy setting and not only has it really helped with throttle responsiveness and power at all speeds, but it also increased my fuel mileage by 1mpg...
I have guages, and my boost has gone from 25psi max to 30max, but never over 30...
Superchips is a very conservative programmer, and I really feel that is is safe for my truck.. Much different than Edge and Banks, that is a little more "permanent", with more agressive settings...
The best part about this type of tuner is that you can easily de-tune your truck before you take it to the dealer, returning it to stock settings... Just drive it around for a few days before you take it in.
I have had tuners on both of my trucks, and NEVER gotten any problems from 2 different dealers when i've de-tuned and taken it in for AC work and recalls...
NO issues that I would say are related to the Superchips..
