I'm pretty sure that's an old (well new actually) 7.3. Big oil filter on the bottom, red line to the wastegate, trans still looks like the 4R100, etc.. Still pretty cool to see one in it's infancy like that.

hmm. my teacher would kill to have that sitting in our shop, even the engine alone. nut, you didnt recognize that monster as a 7.3? that would be nice if ford could put that back in as a 2008 option.

That is Terry Cook. He drives the Powerstroke Diesel Nascar Craftsman truck series race truck. I met him at Nashville a while back and he is a nice guy, and his truck is awesome. I was trying to get a piece of his truck if he had bad luck during the race but all I came away with was a driver card and some good pics of the hauler as it entered the garage area...
