one side is down

I took your advise and checked the connectors to the valve covers. I find alot of the pins in bad shape. One connector look like it was burn. I replaced the connectors on that side. Thanks for the international parts numbers I only spent $50 on the pins and connector. Now I have know voltage to this side of engine. I have find the little black box back of filter I would like to know what it is and if I should check it. Any help I would like I need to get this truck running before winter.

If you put on new connectors and have no voltage to them it's reasonable to assume the new connectors are the problem. Pins not pushed all the way in or something?
