Angry mean?

Do you consider this to be mean? I have a 06 Mustang Gt bought brand new the last week of Janurary 06. I have had to get three door dings taken out of it using a paintless door ding remover guy. I currently have three more dings in the stang. Two are horrendously ugly. So I will improve my relationship with my dent remover guy and get them taken out.
My issue is this. I also have a new 06 F-150 4X4 not lifted, but a 2" AS to level it out. Even though you see a lot of lifted trucks in Las Vegas, in the parking lot, my stainless nerf bars are probably still above the bottom of most cars, and Suvs doors. When I wash my truck on Sunday afternoons I always smile when I see a new nick or scratch in my nerf bars. Because I know some idiot just slammed their door into my truck, but the nerfs put a nice round dent in the side of their door!!

Ok then, I will answer my own question. Damn right it was mean to think that way. But would the folks who were morons and door dinged my Mustang, stand up and pay for me getting the body back to OEM. Hell no they won't!

Have a good Sunday!

My sister's with their Audi A4 & 2005 Rav4 feel the same way.

They even park away from the popular spots in parking lots.

Again the term RESPECT of other people and their things is surely lacking in some people's heads.

No it's not mean......I keep my hitch and ball in the receiver because of the idiots who occasionally "bump" the rearend of my truck......Doesn't do squat to the hitch, but hopefully someone has a nice crack or dent in the grill......Lesson learned.....the hitch sticks about 6" back from the bumper---if you're moving to within 6" of someone's bumper, YOU'RE TOO FREAKIN' CLOSE!!! I've renamed my hitch the "Grill-Catcher 2000"......

I've even pulled into parking lots to go shopping when people park next to me, open their car doors and and bang my door.

They say nothing.

I'm thinking WTF.

I always make sure I hold on to the door to make sure it doesn't swing into someone elses car.

Just common courtesy, which seems like "most" people don't have, IMHO.

Hold the door? Pffft! Keep an 8 lb engineer's hammer in the trunk for those times you need that 'extra clearance" to get your door open.

If I am in my vehicle when someone opens a door on it I always tell them my vehicle may not be worth what theirs is but to me it is worth more than theirs.
I have got some dirty looks but have given sone dirty looks.
I strongly dislike people who have no respect of others property.

Part of the problem is They are making the parking spots smaller and people do not make sure they are between the lines when they park. We who have large trucks often get squeezed.

There have been a few times I had to climb in from the passenger side because of some retard parked to close.. Needless to say I left them something to remember me by.

My '04 does not have a scratch on it and the '99 I had before that was almost pristine. I credit most of that to where I park. I park in the far ends of a parking lot and walk the extra 40 or 50 yards to where I am headed. One of my pet peeves is the lazy-*** morons that leave their shopping carts all over the place to possibly roll into other cars. Often when I am making my trek to the entrance, I will pick up a cart or two. Once as I was making my walk I saw some guy put his packages in his trunk, push his cart to the side and get in. As I passed his car, I moved the cart back behind his car and walked on. The biggest problem is that common courtesy is no longer common.

Naa it's not mean! Personally i park away from everybody else so there less chance of anything happening and i dont mind the extra walk.

On a side note i also have nerf bars for those fools who dont respect others property!
