Bedrug owners, how does it hold up in the elements

Want to buy a bedrug for my daughters truck. I like my bedrug, but I have a leer cap. Daughter has no cover/cap on the bed. SO its either a spray in or, or the bedrug. Just curroius how it will stand up to the elements.

I realize its closed cell foam. BUt just kind of wonder what it will be like when a bunch of leaves get in it then it rains for 3 days.............?

Daughter does not haul at all, and she would prefer the bedrug for camping and stuff, but just not sure how it will be in the elements....

I had a bedrug in my 2001 F250 and I have one now in my 2005 F250. I was/am very pleased with both. I park right under an oak tree and get leaves, acorns, and other junk in the bed regularly, has never been a problem. No staining or sticking. Sweep it down with a broom on occasion, or if I want it really clean, work it over with the household vacuum cleaner with the beater brush.

Yes, waters does get in through the zippers along the side where the bedrug turns at the walls. It is not absorbed by the bed rug, it drains right out. Four years in my 2001 F250 with no signs of abrasion or rust.

Ive seen my share of them, both exposed and in an enclosed bed. I have one myself thats held up very nicely since about march. But the ones Ive seen that have been exposed were just like they were when they put them in. Personally, I like the doubled up protection of a spray in and the bedrug. More insulating, sound dampening, abrasion resistance, etc. Its a good way to go.
