I see a LOT of old people in my travels.I have talked with a few people that reached the century mark. Very interesting conversations result in that.
Your GMS looks fantastic for her age.
My Dad just hit 88.5 and we celebrated his Sisters 90th a month ago.
Their mom lived to 92
My other GM lived to 92 as well.
I remember the story of a reporter interviewing an elderly man of 114..
He said to the man:" So what do you attribute your long to ?"
The Old man said:"I really don't know.... I started smoking at 14 and still smoke the old cigar .... I drank a quart of whiskey every day and still have a nip before bedtime.....I had at least 60 women in my life.... 3 of them wives..........but, I'll tell you one thing sonny" ...The reporter replied: "What's that ?"........then the old man replied:" If I knew I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself".
I secretly filmed my One Grandmother on her 90th BD celecration 2 years before she died.
Got 5 hours of solid interview type material with stories that dated back to 1901 when she turned 6 years old just after they landed in America from Denmark.
She would have never spoken much about life had she known she was been filmed.
I wish I had known my Grandfather's more though.
They both died in their 60's.
