...heated floor boards....

My wife is constantly complaining that the floorboard burns her feet thru her shoes when we ride around in my truck.

I put a heat barrier under the molded plastic floor, but it doesnt help. Any suggestions? The heat shield is in tact above the cat, but the floor stays too damned hot.

If you can't lower the pipe a little, make an additional heat shield with as much air space as you can make. Then pop rivet it to the floor.
