Ford "Accessorys"?
First of all, I made a mistake ID'ing mu truck.
Mine is an '85 XLT 4X4. not an '86.
1) I have a question about the Under Hood "trouble Light" that mine has?
Heck I just found it!
The unit appears to be on a retractible spool. I haven't even tried it yet
I'm guessing the replacement bulds are just common parking or some other single pole type, right?
I have no Owners Manual.
Learning as I move forward...
2) How do you ID the Transmission? Mine has a circled "D", on the shifter.
I suppose this is the Automatic's Overdrive position?
How can I find out the transmission code for A/T Drain/Flush/Filter kit and parts ordering?

Owners manuals and Ford Shop Manuals for your truck show up on eBay Motors Auction very often. Really a worthwhile investment whether or not you plan to do your own maintenance. You can learn a lot about your truck.

My 83 has the retractable underhood lamp. The bulb is a 90, which isn't listed as the bulb for any other bulb on the truck. Years ago, my light wasn't working right, so I tried refurbishing it, but it really isn't worth it IMO.
Sounds like you have the Automatic Overdrive (AOD). The code shown on the drivers door jamb is T.
