1950 Ford flat 6 transmission ID.

Oldjeep has a T98 Transmission he wants to get rid of. I may need some spare parts for mine. I have not looked into why mine won't shift yet. How do I ID my transmission to know if they are the same unit?

This is a picture of an early T18, they look virtually identical to a T-98. I'd take a picture of the one I have, but it's so covered with gunk that it would be difficult to see any detail.
