Help With Lift Kit!!!
I am looking to buy a 4 or 5 inch lift kit. What is the best for a 2001 7.3 4x4 crew cab? I have seen fab teck ,skyjacker, pro comp, which one is the best for this truck? I am going to put 35/12.50 R17s or 16 dont know just yet,,,thanx for the help....

i have the Donahoe 4.5" spring hanger kit. it is a little on the expensive side, but it's the best IMO. $1400 with bilstein 5100's but it reatains the stock spring ride and capacity, but the shocks make ride a whole lot better.

i agree with strokin. i hade that same lift on my truck for a littler over a year. i took it off and sold it because of diesel prices and i am moving to colorado soon but when i lift it again i think i will get the donahoe 3'' system. it is easier to install and a bunch cheaper. also i thought the 4.5'' lift was just a little too big IMO. if you want to see a bunch of lifted superdutys check out www.superdutyheadquarters.com.

I have heard Revtech are pretty good from the Grapevine. not from first hand knowledge, but just my .02. I am looking at there leveling kit.

4.5" DR for the best on road ride (hanger and shackle).
4" DR if you plan on off roading a good amount (leaf springs)

Thanx DC.. I just got the pro comp 4inch. With all the goodies. I went through the ringer on this one. I am getting it set up next Monday. Thanx again for all the help!!! I have had the truck 3 weeks and 5 grand is gone,,,lol banks, wheels, tires and lift,,, geesss But it will look sweety. All you guys have been a great help.. Thanx again
