It's a scam.
Those things have been around for years (along with a similar POS for the tailpipe) and I don't think there's ever been a verifiable test where it increased power by even 1/10 of a HP.
Look at it this way- if it REALLY increases HP and mileage, wouldn't Ford use it from the factory? It would be an easy 30 HP and help them meet CAFE fuel requirements for just pennies per vehicle...
If you really want a supercharger buy a Rouch Supercharger kit. All required parts with computer tuned chip is included. Oh, its $5500 bucks.....but you get what you pay for.
This was one item that was under scrutiny as a fuel saver/performance increase item. It failed and produced no noticeable difference. Consumer Reports tested it along with it becng discussed on either 20/20 or PrimeTime some time ago. Net net save your money it does absolutely nothing.
