Installing new body mounts

I just got me an Energy Susp. poly cab mount kit for my sagging '94 std. cab shortbox. I've never done this before so any quick words of advise would be very helpful. I started soaking the bolts last nite so hopefully they have loosened up. One specific ? I had was if I should loosen all of them first and then replace one by one? And if I need to shim it what can I use for that? The front two look like they will be the biggest pain. The radiator support looks pretty rusted out on both sides, should I be concerned? I'm afraid that wenchin and jacking on those areas might make it worse. The rear of the cab is about 3/4 out of level, sagging toward the drivers side, but the front seams ok.

I did my 93 loosen up all 6 bolts . I slowly jacked up cab from both sides till could remove
mounts (dose not take alot). I had no trouble with rad support I took bolts out and it came up with cab. I guess you could loosen up all bolts and do one side at time.Rear, front and rad bushing. I had never done it before and didn't want to bind anything. As for the rad support I put in a aftermarket one. I spray it and under with used oil couple time a year now. Good luck

I started this prodject tonite, And got as far as loosening up a few of the bolts and taking a couple out to check there condition. This means I have a few more questions. First, once I remove the bolt can I just cut through the "crush sleeve" that holds the mount together? This would require new sleeves, where can I get those?Do they come with new bolts? I got an Energy kit that said it had sleeves impregnated in them "where applicable" I would really appreciate any help. thanks

Well I'm back with a little more knowledge. First gettin new hardware ain't cheap. I called the dealership and the guy told me some of those bolts where $77 and I think he siad each. I was too busy catching my breath to hear the rest. I also tried pounding out the sleeve/mounts near the footwell without much luck. I need a bigger BFH(Big F----in Hammer). It is also kinda tricky swingin a hammer up under the dash like that.I am still wonderin if I can cut thru those sleeves up near the top of them and if I can re-use them? Please don't let me make an expensive mistake. I'm lookin for help from Energy Susp.'s technical department next. Anyone with a clue about this HELP!!!

lostin90s thanks for you responses too.

This topic has basically turned into my personal repair journal seeing as I am the majority of replies to it. Anyways I am gonna try drillin the crush sleeve out from the top to loosen it up. Sound like a bright idea? I'll let myself know how it goes. I haven't tried jacking on it yet, but I was wondering if the force of that would be enough to break them free? I'll try that too. I wanna get this done tonite/tommorrow so I can got fishing on Sunday, the wallys are starting to bite around these parts.

Hopefully this thread is helpful to someone else some day when they have the same project and a few ??"'s. They can do a search and read about my trials and tribulations.
