I am 23 and had very simmilar problems all related to anxiety if that is indeed what it is the meds mentioned above work very well my advice would not to use xanax if one of the other similar drugs (benzodiazepine's) work for you. xanax has the shortet half life meaning it works fast but not for long and is easy to become addicted to. ativan or klonopin r the best bet hope you feel better soon.
I second the advice to not use Xanax. I'm going through withdrawals now from just a couple of months of only .25mg three times a day. Like the worst flu I've ever had without the fever. I'm only on day four of quitting cold turkey so I'm hoping it'll be over soon. I don't handle stress well and I was stressing over two surgeries. Xanax helps at the moment but quickly becomes the problem.
Ah, I just realized how old this thread is. I did a search for Xanax since I'm dealing with it now and didn't check the dates. I'll go back to slobbering on myself now.
