my 2002 f350 7.3 started fine but was bogging when i stepped on the gas and white smoke came out of the exhaust. I thought it was the diesel filter and so I went and bought a new one to replace it. As I take it out, I smell the old filter and it smells like gas. Turns out that when my cousin borrowed my truck yesterday, he filled it up with regular gas. Hopefully nothing has been damaged. Tomorrow I am going to drain all the gas from the tank and lines and anywhere it is in the system. Do you guys have any clues to what can or could happen to my truck? do you have any other recommendations as far as what I should do to get this fixed? thanx for the input.
If you've already drained your tank and refilled with diesel, I'd suggest running some diesel fuel additive for extra lubrication, or bio diesel.... take your pick. Just do it for the next few tanks. Either way, cross your fingers and pray that your injectors survive. Hopefully you still had just enough diesel in there to lubricate the injectors while it was running on a gasoline mixture.

thanx for the hint. Yeah, luckily the tank was more than hal full when my cousin added the regular gas and so it still have diesel in it. After draining the tank and filling it up with diesel it had a little truble running while it burned the gas from the filter but after 1 minute or so it ran smooth.
