Steering box nut size.
The previous owner tried butchering the wrong nut onto the pivot shaft comming off the steering box (think it is called the pivot shaft - shaft that goes through idler arm), anyway I dont have thread guages and would like to know the correct size of nut that goes on there.

My suggestion would be to invest in a thread gauge. There are many mysterious things in Ford land. You don't want to mess it up any furthur. Good luck!
