I need some technical questions answered if possible. 1)Where do the f-350 emblems mount on the truck?I was told the emblem was mounted on the fender. If that is true where is the exact spot? 2)What is the best product to use for glueing weatherstripping to the metal? 3)How do fender aprons (inner fender) mount to cab? 4)Does anyone make a "Ford script" 9' stake body that originally came with the truck?I thought i saw an ad in hemmings a couple of years ago for someone that had a reproduction bed of this type. any help will be appreciated!
I think the specs are the same between 66 and 65 models. The emblem should mount in the provided holes on the rears of the front fenders, one emblem on each side. The emblem on my 66 pushes into the holes, using a type of self-gripping metal anchor. The inserts are plastic, may be available in reproduction. If there are not any holes, maybe the fenders are from an earlier model where the emblems mounted on the hood sides, am not sure..Don't know about the repro stake bed, would think at least up thru '79 other stakebeds should interchange, or provide some parts for yours..

Answer: 1 inch forward from the rear of the fender 2 1/2" from th top of the fender to the highest part of the crest (not the letters)

Answer: I have found that the 3M weatherstrip adhesive works well. most auto parts stores carry it. If not, try an upolstry shop.
Make sure you clean the weatherstripping with alcohal before trying to glue it on. It has a release agent on it so the manufacturer can get it out of the moulds and wont stick with the best of adhesives. BTDT.
You may have some luck with Northern Classic Trucks on the bed. It is listed in the links section of the Slick 60's club and on the 61 to 66 Ford yahoo club.
