Need Diagnosis Help

2003 F250 4x4, making a "rough" feel through brake pedal when stopping. Only feel this rough vibration - wrongness - from about 18 mph to about 10mph. Nothing at any other speeds. Normal shifting and no roughness when accelarating. Has been doing this for about a month - not getting worse or better. I have BFG A/Ts and am wondering if the tires could be a part of it? Lots of Pad left on brakes - about 57000 on the truck.

I had that early on...it was the left front tire. Dealer replaced it. No more problems.

New tires since. Still no problems.

sounds like a warped brake rotor to me.

Try rotating the tires.Possibly cupping.

Thanks guys, I figured either tires or rotors. I was really hoping that no one would say " probably the front bearings - I have had them go out 20 times"

I will rotate the tires - which are new - about 5000 miles. if this does not work I will have the rotors checked.

I'm with the tires being the noise. Tires with aggresive tread tend to make noises and vibrate... there may be nothing you can do about it.

I'm wondering if my hi-frequency vibration could be my BFG Rugged Trail stock tires. I aired them up to 80 psi and it seems like some of the vibes went away.
