Engine compartment cleaning

i have used the store brand engine cleaner, not degreaser i think it's called "engine brite". followed the owners manual and label instructions and no ill effects. but a clean engine compartment. the reason i clarify the type is i actually bought the degreaser and it is too harsh on plastics and rubber

You mentioned puking... my PSD puked and the dealer said it was the Head Gasket had blown. How can one tell if the truck puked or it is a blown head gasket? The only signs of antifreze were immediately around the radiator cap/hose connecting reservoir to DS radiator.
