that was a big ole !! How come you didn't take pix of the s and the s? So we coulc get the full experience. I've seen this happen to another ford explorerer at the local boat launch just up the street. However they were launching a 20-24' boat. lmao

I can't tell you what I pulled it out with (bowtie), but he hooked his end of the chain! Once on dry ground he had the brains to ask "Spose I could start it up?" I shoulda said... sure be my guest I don't think all that water in the cylinders will interfere with her firing once it's blown out the tailpipe!... or all that extra water in the crankcase will jus thin the oil down a little. But naw, I said the only place this thing is gonna start is to start up onto the bed of a tow truck.

Some people's kids just hafta learn the hard way!

That does not look like the USA, that looks middle east- ish. Does not look like an Exploder with the rear barn doors. I bet it is salt water and the tide came in !

The emblem on the grill looks like the Mitsubishi symbol. Maybe a Montero Sport?

Saw a Chevie Blazer go out with the tide at Juneau AK in 1991.
Not a boat launch situation, but he drove it out on the sand at low tide to fish and it wouldn't start when the tide started in. They hand carried as much as they could before it disappeared - 20 to 30 foot tides. The next low tide it wasn't visible. Don't know if it sank into the sand or floated to deeper water.

I run a WaveRunner Rental operation here in Mid-Missouri. I've launched and picked up WaveRunners by backing the truck in until the tailgate is under for the past 21 years. I have yet to lose my truck though. Thank God. ROFL That's sad to see. So freakin' funny though! Hahaha

Not exactly sure. I got them at a junkyard cause I couldn't afford new wheels and I liked the style of them. Thanks.

They look just like the wheels they used on some 69-70 stangs back in the day. Gives it nice a classic touch.
