Hi, I'm rebuilding a 65 250 and as I live in Australia I'm finding it hard to source parts. Need a grille mainly. Any help would be great. Been thinking about having complete truck shipped from the US for parts.
Cheers
Charlie
The 65 grille seems to be one of the hardest items to find. When my truck was wrecked I waited it out on Ebay until I was able to get one in fairly good shape and spent about 40 hours polishing to make it look good.
Thanks for the help, I'm looking for either painted or aluminum in good condition. Unfortunitly the 250 I'm rebuilding was hit drivers side front (that's the right side down here) and the grille was not repairable, I bought the truck with a spare grille but it is damaged as well.
Hey I got a buddy over here that works at the FD with me he's from the Melborn area. Before Steve died, he didn't like him much, now The Animal Planet is always on . Not to get off topic but his brother is working on a Bronco, and he is always sending him my old parts catalogs, now back on topic, try going to National Parts depot web site and request a catalog, also Try LMC they might ship internationaly, They might even send you a catalog. Good luck with your build.
Try Tom at Flashback F100s. He's the only vendor I know of that does used parts regularly. Flashback F100s , 2519 Wagon Wheel Rd , Reidsville , NC 27320 , PH : 336 - 421 - 3979
