Looking to buy an 01-03 EX. I am looking at the XLTs with bench seats. Just wondering if anyone has one of these and how the seats are for comfort. Thanks

i have an 01 limited with the 40/20/40 front seat. i woildn't trade it for the front buckets. alot of people say that the center consoles are a waste. others love them. i love the huge center folding seat because of the size of the compartment. my seats are leather because its a limited. are yours the 40/20/40 or 60/40 or solid bench?

 

I didn't even realize you could get a bench in the Limited. Is it power, heated, etc.? I have been looking at XLTs because I thought they were the only ones with the bench. Thanks for the info! The ones that I have seen in the XLTs are cloth 40/20/40.

 

Do you have any pictures of the 40/20/40 front? My wife loves the center console, but we very rarely use it. We have however needed more than 8 seats on occasion (Foster Parents) and have been looking at littleseats.com for the possibility of adding two more in the back at the expense of the cargo area. I would like to see some GOOD pictures of the 40/20/40 front to show her as a reference.

 

I THINK the lower seat section is the same for bench or captains' chairs--just the upper section has the armrest when you get the chairs... I have had both the chairs and 40/20/40 and will not go back to the chairs. And the front seat with the fold-down center armrest will easily seat 3 in comfort and seatbelted.
