If your simply trying to remove the cat just break out the Sawzall and cut er off. That would be the easiet less painful way to accomplish the job.

Well Farm, I need the back end of the cat out of the rest of the exahust so I can slip the delete in. I was thinking cut it then try to "chip out" the inside. Would that be a wise move?

If the delete pipe goes in place of the cat just stick it up there measure the pipe and cut it off then slip the delele pipe in. Thats how mine worked.

Stroker, so If I cut the cat (that is slipped in the rest of the exhaust already) you say the delete pipe will slip in the cut cat that is slipped into the rest of the exhaust? Sounds tight. Or maybe I am not understanding what you are saying.

If the end off the delete pipe is expanded it should just slip right over the rest of the exhaust and the other end should slip into the new down pipe.

I think you can check it by sliding it over the tail pipe at the end of your exhaust? It should be the same 3 1/2" pipe.

The pipe does not seem to get bigger at the end suggesting it slips over the rest of the exhaust. Perhaps I will call the manufacturer and ask.

So if it is the same size, it will slip over the exahust pipe at the end of the cat between the cat and muffler?

All righty then! Delete installed. Its amazing what the right tools can do. I used Oxy/accet and a BFH and that cat popped right off. I cut the delete down a little and wire wheeled the inside of the old exauhst and slammed that baby in place. I could not get it all the way in. There is a hole on the exauhst that is exposed (the whole looks porpously made from the factory I dont know why) I am not sure what to do with the hole. Any suggestions?
THANKS

Good to hear you got her done! If you have access to a welder just weld it together so it wont come apart on ya. Where is the hole? Is it on the down pipe?

I ran with just the down pipe on to work to finish the project. It was to loud (I drink to much so I don't want to attract attention) So I think I will the muffler.
