Thumbs up

For the stain, try Blue Coral upholstry shampoo. Works great! I dry the area with a hair dryer and the stains are gone. Might take two applications. THEN, buy a can of Scotchguard ( no substitutes!) and spray your seats. I gave them 2 coats, which is 2 cans. Now any stains come right out with no problem! Good luck!

Try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Once you have the stains out trade for a Lariat.

I have a question along these lines as well. I bought an 05 Crew Cab used and it was a good deal so I looked past the stain in the front seat. (Has to be from coffee) Possibly the reason the guy traded it in

They detailed it for me and it faded the stain some but it's still pretty apparent. I'm not opposed to some good looking seat covers.

Anyone have any suggestions on what brand/place to buy them?

Known issue with the 04 and newer trucks. My 04 was weeks old when bottled water got spilled and the stain is still there. Dealerships agree that the seating fabric sucks when compared to earlier trucks. Ford really scrimped on the fabric.

I had the same issue, water stains on the seat. I used a "dry clean" cleaning solution, it took the stain away. Blue coral works great!

Here's a tip, don't use Spray and Wash even in small amounts to get a stain out. Good news the stain came out, bad news, it made the fabric a little darker where applied. I'm thinking it's spray and wash residue and some warm water will take care of it, have not tried that yet though.

cisman, I had some neoprene covers made by Wet Okole on my '01 and they were really nice. It was time consuming to put them on because of the stuff you had to remove to get the seat covers slid on, but it was worth it because they fit so snug and followed the contours of the seat so good that you couldn't hardly tell that they were covers. The only drawback to them was they are a little pricey, I spent 2 days on the web checking and comparing prices and the cheapest place to get them was directly from Wet Okole, my front seat covers cost me a little over $300 shipped, and that was with the $30 custom logo put on the seat back. Check out Wet Okole.com, they have many different color and logo options to choose from. Also, since they make their covers to order, it took about 8 weeks to get mine.
