few days ago my driver side front wheel sounded like it was loose. everytime i hit a bump it rattles really bad. so i took it to a buddies house and we tightened the lug nuts thinking that was it...it wasn't. it's still making the sound. it sounds like having lug nuts completely off a rotor and it just bouncing around in side a hupcap (best way to describe the sound)...and this happens over every lil crack/bump in the road...please help!!
Drive over rough road where it normally rattles, but with slight pressure on the brake pedal and see if rattle goes away. If so, then it is brake pads or calipers.
took the tire off and looked at everything...come to find out it was the brake caliper bracket...the two bolts that hold it on, i could literally finger tighten them on..not good haha...but we tighten them down...now everythings fine...
