fuel regulator
Hi all. Got a question. Do all gasoline vehicles have fuel regulators? I have an 85 full size bronco with a 4.9L carbureted engine. I followed the gas line from the mechanical fuel pump along the left frame all the way back to the gas tank. Nothing bur steel fuel line fromj pump to gas tank. Does a mechanical fuel pump need a regulator or is it only an electric fuel pump that needs one?

Bill you will not have a fuel regulator with a mechanical fuel pump. Only the fuel injected trucks or if you were to install an electric fuel pump you would need a regulator.
