Can someone point me to a Lowering kit for a 06 Ranger STX?Can't seem to find ANYTHING.Also, what is the back spacing on the wheels?Looking to get a set of Craiger style(Torque thust II or other clones) in 17x8s to fill out the wheel well a little better.Don't want a extreme drop.Maybe level it out and an inch up front. That Snow plow is already pretty close to the ground.
I cant remember if the STX is coil spring or torsion bars, i believe its coil sprung. If it is coil sprung, you can use any lowering kit for coil sprung rangers. As far as wheels, the stock backspacing is 4.5 We just put some 18x9 black bullitts on a ranger, with just some half inch spacers, with no problems so far.
ehhh,I won't be going that route.Personally I don't like it.Might go by the stealership and see if they have a set of silver ones laying around I can lean up next to it.The black with "Beauty ring" just doesn't look right to me.
Might look good to most people out there but I am pretty much the type,I don't care what anyone thinks. If it looks good to me then that is the way I am gonna do it.You know, since my truck is Oxford White those rims Might not look too bad.....I might have to see if the stealer ship has a some black ones too. It's amazing. You can have 2 trucks exactly the same but different colors and the rims look better on one than teh other.
I'll have to see about a mock up at the local stealership.Maybe I can go in and they will have a Mustang getting serviced.I really like the old school Craiger look.I could always be different and go with a set of Smoothie Moon rims.......hee hee hee.Nah....
