Thought maybe you guys would enjoy seeing another vid of my truck (then again maybe not) But this is from Sat night in Chillicothe MO. First run of the night, and I broke my left front axle but didn't know it, ran a couple more races and ended up breaking both axle and almost flipped it again but was able to blip the throttle and get it back down on all 4 tires, ended up having the scratch out of modified but took 3 in open class against guys that run a LOT of nitrous. (I don't run any nitrous, it's all motor, and I don't run paddle tires either although allowed in that class)
Any case enjoy.

"MAN" !!! just think how it would run if it didn't have anything broken ha ha, toally awesome Rob. Do you think if I got the 4.5 stroker kit for my 4.0 cammer that it would run like that ? If I had the stroker, I could probobley beat you, yes, no, maybe ha ha ha ha, just kidding !! Awesome truck, are you gonna let me race it for sometime hee hee ?
Guys it's not a big thing that the axle broke, I am actually pretty impressed with them. It's got factory D44 axle shafts and this is thier third year in that truck, 2 yrs with the big block and one year with a 550hp 351C so not too bad in my book on factory stuff. Now I guess it's finally time to upgrade to chromemoly axles for the front, I already upgraded in the rear axle this last spring.
Thanks for the compliments too.
The dana 44 must be a strong unit to handle your kinda power. Thats what I've been telling my jeep buddies, thier talking ford 9", or a dana 60 for thier wranglers with pretty much stock motors except for bolt on's. If our rangers had a dana 44 in the front, and a 9" in the back, they'ld be about unstoppable.
