LAST EDITED ON 03-Jun-01 AT 02:44 PM (EST)[p]It won't fit David. The 351W intake is wider due to the taller deck height.
Alright thanks for the answer...Would it be a whole lot better to just buy a new 351w 4bbl intake or just buy an adapter to go from 2bbl to 4bbl? If it would be better just to buy a new intake where would be the best place to buy one a fairly cheap priced buyt good one?
thanks alot guys
David
I would take the $$$ plunge and get a new 4bbl mainfold, as long as you got the carb for it. First choice for me would be to find a scrap yard that has a Hollander interchange manual. They can see what years will interchange with your motor and might have some excellent used ones. Offenhauser is a good mainfold source for a new one, lots of others too. Should be easy to find their websites by just entering the company name as a keyword..
hey man thanks for all the adivce but i can't find a website for Offenhauser can someone help me out once again? Would an Offenhauser be better than an edelbrock intake?
thanks a million guys
David
David the only manifold you can use is one for a 351W. Any one from a car or truck will work, if you go the wrecking yard route. 351W were used in cars and trucks since 68. Most commonly found in Mustangs, Torinos, Fairlanes, trucks, and wagons. Your best bet for a stock 4bbl would be a Mustang or Torino. You can also check Ebay or any local car swapmeet if those exsist near you. Happy hunting Rich.
