Thanks guys,I feel alittle better today.So far got the rear main seal in and the oil pan cleaned and put back on.Next come the intake and valve covers.For new gaskets.Then after all that is done.Hook the trans back on the motor.

Sweet I can't wait to get my truck from ncfirefighter. So I can start on it.

Valve Covers are off.So is the intake.Tomorrow I will get them back on.Then try to get the trans put back on.Tony

Got the Intake cleaned and put back on.Cleaned the valve covers and painted them and got them back on.Tomorrow Going to get the trans on and do a little painting and then She goes in the 71.Finally.LOL

Well it been a long day.LOL got the Motor all painted and the trans hooked up.So the motor is in the 71 and all bolted down.Tran crossmember is in and bolted in.Speedo is in and so is the linkage hooked up too.Got the tuneup all on the motor.Rad is in.All hoses hooked up too.Alter is bolted up too.The frontend of the motor is back together except the powersteering unit need to get it painted.I think that is all.Just wanted to let you all know what I got done.Going to put up a couple pics up in my album.Later Tony

Well I got the booster and master cly installed.Got the brake pedal and gas pedal hooked up.Got the powersteering painted and hooked up.Fix the trans line and got them installed.And put part of the exhaust on.And got the rest of the dash back together too.


All i can think of that is left is cut the drive shaft and weld it back and install it.Get the rest of the exhaust installed.Hook up the rear brake line.And wire up the engine and the Duraspark.Then put oil and antifreeze in then it should be ready to get it running.Just wanted to let you guys know Tony

Well Got somemore done.Got the engine all wired in and put the oil in it.Said what the hell I gave it a try and she runs.Had to have the driveshaft shorting and got it back today so I got it put in today too.

All that is left know is the rest of the exhaust and the brake line and bleed the brakes.I think thats it.What do you all think??Later Tony

Got the rear brake line hooked back together.Peiced the exhaust together.And filled the trans with fluid.Know all i need to do is bleed the brakes and weld the exhaust.Then it time for a test drive.Maybe will get it done sometime this weekend.I cant wait.LOL

Well I didnt get to bleeding brakes today.Put did get the exhaust all welded up.Tomorrow going to bleed the brakes and take it for a test drive
