Gauges & dash kit

I have a 2005 Excursion 6.0 and love it. Lifted it 8" put 37's on it, exhaust mods, intake, Edge A2. My one complaint is the dash and gauges. I had a Chevy Avalanche and had many choices for instrument cluster and the dash was just much nicer looking. The Fords look so plain, does anyone sell a drop in aftermarket gauge kit (not just the overlays) and what about a nice looking woodgrain kit or complete replacement of the stock black piece?

there is a full wood kit that you can get. as far as gauges, what are you looking for, new dash gauges, or additional gauges. if more is what you want, check out auto meter, they have so mony gauge pods available. even in wood grain too.

I am looking for new dash gauges. I put a nice chrome trimmed Escalade gauge kit in my old avalanche really made it look nice. I just think that Ford goes kinda cheap on the interior details. Could have some nicer seats as well.

agreed. they do cheap things. i dont think there is another dash that would go in there. just stick on covers. or , alot of work, you could fab up your own panel and use auto meter gauges that are mounted in the cluster area.
