83 250 Gvw
Ok i was just wondering what the factory GVW listed on the inside of the door is, for a 1983 f-250 with a 6.9 and the Borg Warner 4 speed manual transmission. The reason I am wondering is that the guy at Napa and I were tlking about my truck and he was asking what my GVW was so i could get the right master cylinder. I think it says like 8800 or sumthing like that, im not near my truck so i odnt know but its more then 8000 and less then 9000. He said that My truck should be a 350 not a 250. It doesnt really matter to me, but It would be nice to know if my truck is a 1 ton or not.

go by the vin.
if it is a 250 4X2, the vin will be F25.
if it is a 250 4X4, the vin will be F26.
if it is a 350 4X2, the vin will be F35.
if it is a 350 4X4, the vin will be F36.
if it is a 250 4X2, the vin will be F25.
if it is a 250 4X4, the vin will be F26.
if it is a 350 4X2, the vin will be F35.
if it is a 350 4X4, the vin will be F36.
