I have a 06 - F250 with a tool box in the back. That leaves me with only two cargo rings near the tailgate. A buddy of mine just bought a 06 Toyota Tundra which has these sliding cargo rings that attach to the bed rails. Does anyone know of an aftermarket system that will attach to the inside of your bed rails but will allow you to slide those cargo rings up and down the bed to tie down junk in the truck.
I am in the same boat as you and have often thought about this as there are no spots to tied down my motorcycles. That Tundra system is sweet. One of those japanese pickups also comes with a spray in bedliner. I think the big three really need to step it up to compete. I can't wait to see toyotas diesel 3/4 ton when it comes out.
Jc whitney has a couple of different solutions
ON EDIT:
I tried to get the long urls to work, but they don't. Search "tie down" here http://www.jcwhitney.com

I bought two more original equipment tie-down hooks from the dealer and bolted them to the lower edge of the toolbox in about the same location as the originals. The box is steel, plenty strong for anything I'm going to need to tie down. They are easy to access and work and look great. Just an idea.
