Here in MO they only check to make sure that the vehicle is road worthy during an inspection. They could care less if I cut the cats off my truck at the place I take it to and as a matter of fact when I had my 97 F350 PSD this same place cut the cat and muffler out of my truck and made it straight pipe for me so I knew they would pass me on the inspection because they were the ones that modified it.

You know whats a pain in the butt, is to have everything pass, and then have your gas cap fail. The parts store down the street from the inspection station got to the point where he just started lending gas caps, there's alot to be said for small towns, and there people. I had 2 gas caps fail, 1 on my 02 jeep wrangler, and 1 on my 88 suzuki samuri, the zuke I could understand, it was old, but my jeep was pretty new, it made me so mad, I traded it for my 04 ranger that I have now. I still like jeeps, that just hit me wrong, and I was wanting another ranger anyway.
