New '06 and AFE Check Engine Light???

Ok have a new 06 V8TD. I just installed a AFE aFe 54-10392 - Stage Two Intake - Ford Power Stroke 6.0. Install was easy and quick....After install drove it for about 20 mins and the check engine light came on. Checked all the connection and all was good.

Is this common? Can this be turned off? Or simply having it reset solve the issue..

It was common on the early models. AFE has a revised tube to relocate the MAF sensor. I'd suggest contacting AFE to determine if your situation applies.

I just bought myself an 05 CCSB 6.0 today. 1st mods 5 minutes after getting home was an AFE Stage II p/n 75-10392. I left the house, stood on it and as the rpms come up 3000-3800 under WOT the battery light starts to come on, and as the rpms rise the light gets brighter. I have been selling and installing these for a long time and I have never seen/heard of this before. Anyone else ever seen this?
