O2 Sensor problem ? Terrible fuel mileage

93 E350 460 gas . Check engine light was on checked for code it indicated o2 sensor . I then replaced it and the one I pulled out looked great did have some carbon on the tip .After replacement check engine light still comes on after 50 - 100 miles ? Fuel mileage has dropped from 12mpg to around 8 . Could this be a problem with the mass air flow sensor ? and would this not set a code ? Thanks to anyone who has any input on this one .

Is the code for rich or lean?
That truck shouldn't have a MAF, I think the 460 was speed density right up to 95 or 96.

im not sure of the code but do remember that it just indicated a faulty o2 sensor . I found what I think is the MAF on the right side of the intake this 460 is in a motorhome Thanks for the quick post

I'd suspect a vacuum leak before anything else.

Really need to read the codes again and post the exact #. Guessing won't cut it.

You don't have a MAf sensor.
