Dash trim pad
Hi there, I dont know if this is the right place to put this...
My truck got broken into today
Anyways it had no theft coverage so I guess I am out to repair the damage to the interior.
I know this is a long shot, does anyone have a parts truck with a red interior? I am looking for the padded dash piece that goes around the stereo. If you have one I would be willing to purchase it off you asap and pay shipping etc.
I am pretty sure ford doesnt sell them and wreckers seem like a thing of the past, cant find anything ever at the auto wreckers these days.
At the very least they weren't able to steal the truck for unknown reasons. THey managed to rip apart my steering column and destroy my stereo without taking it
Actually I might as well post things I need, if you have a aprts truck and arewilling to part with a couple things I would appreciate it.
-Turn signal stock
-Red dash pad
-top half of steering column plastic, black
-metal ignition cylinder thing (the part you stick your key in which has the things that makes it easier to turn the key. ie the part that stick out of the column.
*sigh* time to start hunting for parts to fix this mess...

One more thing, now while driving the ABS light stays on, anyone have an idea what they could have done to cause the abs light to stay on? theres that brown connector under the ignition that seems to be ripped from where ever it was plugged in..

the good thing is that they are morons and could not get the ignition out or the stereo,
the bad thing is that they are morons and tore the **** out of everything in the feeble attempt to take your truck.
if i see anything in the junkyard next week i will pm you.
i posted a couple a weeks ago that i was working on an f150 and had a brake line out and someone stole it with no brakes at all! they cut off some car and they got out and ran away after that guy started beating the hell out of the front windshield of the f150. we got it back the next day when the cops called.

I think they were extremely amature. But looking at the ignition, seems alot harder to steal than my old silverado. Then again I never have stolen a vehicle.
THe paranoia sucks, looks like I will be unpluging the distr. incase they try again (doubt they would be THAT stupid, but I am not chancing it)

just remove the fuel pump relay under the hood.in distr. box.

Where are you at I got complete interior for 93 150 in red but pad is cracked sorry ( had a dash cover on it).But there are 2 other trucks at local wreckers with red guts . I'll try to get over to see if they are ok. So they are out there. Look up 95 bronco on ebay a guy has visors dash peices ,panels on there all time . contact him and see if he can help and he ships. good luck

Hey man, thanks for taking the effort. Let me know if you come across a red dash pad in good shape, I will snag it off you for what ever it costs+your hassle.
