2000 bseries 2500
i have a 2000 mazada b2500 with the 2.3 eng. check eng light illuminate. i had the codes pulled and was told it was the egr valve . i replaced the egr valve and
cleared the code. the light came back later that day .pulled the codes again and it was the egr system again . anybody got any ideas as to what the problem might be. thanks

I have a 99 B3000 and had the code come up for the EGR also. Was going to replace it but found out through here that it usually the DPFE sensor that is bad. Mind was a allum housed unit on the top front of the engine. The replacement is a plastic one. Anyway the light stayed cleared and the engine ran smoother on the street
