juke boxes
Anyone know anything about juke boxes ?
We are renovating/building the last room in the basement and SWMBO wants to go with a "car theme" room
(she is a great wife)
I have a line on 2 juke boxes that are loaded with 45s, he says they still work and he wants $750 each. One is a Rockola and the other a Rowe I don't know which models yet as they were buried in a shed.
I have researched a bit and a good rebuilt juke boxes brings big money.....these ones aren't all that fancy and need some work.
I am getting pumped about these.....maybe yet another hobby for me

I like how ya said, anyone, fom, remember jukeboxes lol I dont know much about them except I have seen they bring god money. I know of an old one on here in bc too that was for sale but I cant remember the price. Said it was in ok shape too, and I believe it was for approx 650 or so.

Yes I remember juke boxes. There was a guy in town that was big into them and used to restore them for resale. I don`t have a handle on pricing except to think that these sound reasonable if complete and in decent shape.

A Rockola is good but I imagine parts are hard to find.
If you can find a "Sovereign" brand they should still be serviceable.
I have a friend in Calgary that owns 3 Jukeboxes but he fixes them himself
