If the entire cylinder area is "open" around the valves (complete cup-shaped combustion chamber), then it is an open chamber. A quench or closed-chamber head will have only part of the combustion chamber around the valves that is cupped into the head - part of where the piston meets the head will be flat, not concave. Hard to describe with words. Hopefully someone can do better. Maybe google 351C quench head pics or open chamber head pics. I forget what the 2V and 4V casting numbers are, and am too lazy to look. If those are 4V heads with a "D0XX" casting number, then they are '70 model heads, and will be quench chambers.
The size of the intake valves will determine if it's an open chamber 2v head or a closed chamber 4v head. They didn't make the open chamber 4v heads until 72 (D2xx casting numbers). The Oz heads have a five character casing number.
