Cylinder head retightening
Republic of South Africa.
If you are dealing with a newly re-built motor, it is always a good idea to re-torque the heads after running the motor. Let it cool down over night and re-torque in the original sequence. You will then be good to go. If the motor has been running for years, it isn't necessary. I have been in touch with another of your countrymen. He is in Cape Town. His name is Ladwig. If you ever run across him, tell him hello for me.
Good luck with your truck.
