How hard is it to lower a 1970 F100 long bed, and what would it cost. Could I do this myself with help. Also if I put in a spray in bedliner would it lower the value of the truck. This is my first old vehicle. Thanks Bill

Not tough at all, the front can be done with a set of dropped A-Arms--- or a complete Independent Front Suspension package, depending on your budget... The rear isn't too tough either. Put the rear end on top of the springs instead of below the springs, does require moving the spring perch from above to below the axle housing, and some new shock mounts on the housing to compensate for the lowered height and keep the shocks in the middle of their travel.
