Hello everyone, new guy here. I have a 1965 Econoline pickup and want to drop it 2 to 3 inches. Any ideas would be great, Thank you, Craig

well craig, it has been done about anyway you can think of. i have seen heated springs, [not a good idea,] moving the axels to the top of the springs, [okay but it realy drops it!] new lowering or dearched springs, [my personal favorite], shortend shackle's, [bout as bad as heated springs], and a few others i am sure i have forgotten.
how ever you do it, make sure it is safe! and be sure and watch your clearances at both ends.

If you move the axle to the top, how is it then fastened to the leaf springs? Can I weld new brackets to the front and rear axles on the bottom side? I think I like the idea of using lowering springs, Where and how much, if you know, Thanks
